Create a connection

Want to set up a new connection in LocalOps? Here’s how you can do it:

To connect AWS accounts, fetch IAM credentials first. Here is how you can get them.

  1. Navigate to Connections:

    • Click on "Connections" from the navigation pane on the left.

  2. Add a New Connection:

    • Click on the "Add connection" button located at the top-right corner of the page.

  3. Fill in the Details:

    • App Name: Enter the name of your app.

    • Cloud Provider: Choose your cloud provider. Currently, we support AWS. Azure and GCP support are coming soon!

    • Connection Type: Select the type of connection. To learn more about connection types, click here.

    • Purpose of Connection: Specify the purpose of the connection. For more details on purpose types, click here.

    • Cloud Credentials: Enter your cloud credentials.

  4. Create the Connection:

    • Click on "Add connection" to create your connection. You can now use this connection for environment creation.
